The last character of the Harry Potter Minis Series is the Dark Lord, You-know-who, Tom Marvolo Riddle. Better known as Lord Voldemort.
Materials:
- Domigurumi 50 g (4ply) yarn in pink, red, white and black
- 2 mm hook
- yarn needle
- fiberfill
I used as always Domigurumi 50g (4 ply) cotton (the best around 🤭) with a 2 mm hook, but you can use whatever you like (or already have)!
Let’s start making the legs as usual, then join them and keep making body and head.
In nude
- 5 sc in a magic ring
2-4. 5 sc
Change color – BLACK – in the last stitch of the previous round.
5. 5 sc
Fasten off and weave in the yarn tail. Repeat the instructions to make the second leg and keep working without fastening off. Ch 4 and sc in one of the stitches of the first leg (this will be the first stitch of the next round!)
- 5 sc around the first leg, 4 sc in the chain, 5 sc around the second leg, 4 sc on the other side of the chain (18)
2-3. 18 sc

6. (3 sc, dec)x3 (12)
7. 12 sc
Change color – NUDE – in the last stitch of the previous round.
8. BLO 12 sc
9. inc in all stiches (24)

11-17. 30 sc
18. (3 sc, dec)x6 (24)
19. (2 sc, dec)x6 (18)
20. (sc, dec)x6 (12)
21. Dec x6
Fasten off leaving a long yarn tail. Using the yarn needle weave the tail through the front loops of the remaining stitches and pull it tight to close. Weave in the yarn tail. Use black yarn to embroider the eyes and the nose.
Keeping Voldemort upside down pull up a loop of black yarn in the first front loop that you skipped in round 4 of the body. Make a slst and ch 1, then starting in the same stitch work as follows:
- 18 sc, slst in the first st and ch 2
2-3. starting in the same st, 18 dc, slst in the same st and ch 2
4. 18 hdc
Fasten off and weave in the yarn tail.
Arms
In nude
- 4 sc in a magic ring
- 4 sc
Change color – BLACK – in the last stitch of the previous round.
3-6. 4 sc
Slst, fasten off leaving a yarn tail and use it to sew the arms on round 7.
Wand
To make the wand just cut a piece from a toothpick and put in in one of the holes on the hand! To make it look like the Sambuco wand I cut some stripes with the scissors.
Your Lord Voldemort is ready! Will he be defeated by the great Harry Potter?
